Dry summer: rotations on the Chu canals
Deliveries to the Chu Irrigation Canal System are below allocation because of low releases upstream. From 9 August the Great Chu Canal and the Western Main Canal work by rotation; rice paddies are cut first, as the dry-year plans provide.
