Dry-year water plans for large water users
Executive Directive 2022/14 requires every large water user to keep a plan for dry years: what it will cut at one-third and at one-half of its normal allocation. No new rice paddies may be laid out in the lower Chu without the consent of the Ministry.
Plans are filed with the Talas Basin Agricultural Directorate or the Chu Valley Irrigation Inspectorate by 1 March each year.
